A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF OUR CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS:
1. To begin, just order the custom piece online from our "Custom" Gallery and then follow up with an email to ([email protected]) to get the creative process underway. This will truly be one of the most creative, memorable gifts you will ever give.
2. Include some basic information, like what/who the piece is for (birthday, retirement, promotion, etc). Try to give us some idea of the initial "vision" you may have for the piece. We can really get as creative as you want.
3. We can then work up a theme including graphics, color, layout and while you brainstorm for the words we’ll use to further customize your piece.
4. Ultimately, we'll need a list of words, phrases, names, dates, etc. that describe the person, event or entity that is the focus of the piece. Place each word/phrase/name/etc on a separate line. The target goal is usually between 80-140 lines. You can type up your list in any text format and then email it back to us once it is complete.
5. We’ll then start working on a first draft of the design and layout, and will email you a digital preview of your piece for review. From there we can tweak things or go back to the drawing board and start anew.
6. Once we arrive at design you are completely happy with, we’ll start production of your final art piece and ship it out to you when complete.
The whole custom design process usually only takes a few days, but that depends on reaction time from both of us as we collaborate on creating the final design.
